Remember bringing home your new baby for the first time and how you were so excited and you had all the relatives visiting the baby and as everyone holds the baby they are saying how cute the baby is. When you go in the babies room in the morning you are telling the baby good morning sunshine and you tell the baby what a gift they are to the world.
Now fast forward to when your baby starts walking and exploring new things in your home and you see the baby heading for that glass vase that's been in your family for generations. What do you say or yell to your child? You most likely yell "NO!!!!" Children start exploring and you feel that they are getting into everything, so your most used word is now "NO".
And after doing that for a year, you tell your child to put their shoes on and what do you think they are going to say? Yep, you guessed it "NO!" So your kids are paying attention to what you do more than what you say. This is due to mirror neurons. They are mirroring the behavior they observe. So as you learn, it opens up new neuro pathways which is new connections in the brain. New experiences enrich the brain. And the brain makes a chemical which becomes your emotions or feelings. The moment you feel free or abundant, you teach your body chemically to understand what your mind has intellectually understood. Knowledge is for the mind and experience is for the body. So you are rewriting your biological program. (* Dr. Dispenza)
